This is great stuff!

Brummel & Brown yogurt and vegetable oil spread - yes, this is a blatant commercial plug, but - well, this stuff is good and there does't seem to be any actual competition in the faux butter-spread market since B&B came out with this stuff... nothing really compares except butter or dipping oils, and for plain old "bread and butter", the yogurt spread actually tastes better, imo, and it requires less maintenance than butter...

Butter gets too hard in the fridge, and gets too soft if you leave it out, so it has to be constantly moved into and out of the refrigerator... If your room temp is something lest than 75F, B&B keeps very nicely outside the fridge, but I usually put it in the fridge e.g. overnight - there's no disadvantage, since it stays soft even when chilled.

One caveat with the Brummel & Brown, though: don't try to fry with it - it does some odd things at skillet or wok temperatures and sticks. Word. Use oil for frying (or butter if you just gotta have that real butter taste...
